Unrestricted donations to the Annual Fund allow Mount Ellis Academy to use your donation in the area of most need today.
Gideon’s 300 Campaign
We believe there are at least 300 individuals who care deeply about Adventist education and Mount Ellis Academy that would be willing to participate in this ongoing ambassador program. By donating a minimum of $1,000 each, with an opportunity for renewal each year, we can reach our initial goal of $300,000 by June 30, 2020 and have an army of faithful people to help support and grow Mount Ellis Academy.

Student Scholarships
Every dollar donated to the Mount Ellis Academy Scholarship Fund helps an average of 30 students cover tuition costs needed to attend every year.
Endowments
Mount Ellis Endowment Fund
This fund provides yearly income to MEA to help with covering education costs.
Bear Canyon Ski Area Endowment Fund
This Fund will help to address financial needs at the ski hill before they become a problem. A fully-funded $300,000 endowment will pay the current annual lease; more will facilitate ski hill maintenance and facility upkeep. Just 300 people willing to pledge $1,000 over the next three years will fund the endowment.
Farnsworth Scholarship Endowment Fund
Farnsworth Scholarship Endowment Fund was set-up to provide additional financial support to students from Montana. This endowment awards $6,000 a year in scholarships to qualifying students.

Looks Like Love Campaign
Exciting things are happening at MEA! This campaign is all about building a stronger, more vibrant future for our academy, ensuring its sustainability for generations to come.
At Mount Ellis Academy, we believe our campus should reflect the love, care, and purpose we pour into our students every day. The Looks Like Love campaign is our multi-phase initiative to renovate and reimagine key areas of our campus—creating spaces and programs that inspire growth, foster community, and support spiritual and academic excellence.
Whether you’re an alum, parent, or friend of MEA, there’s a place for you in this campaign. Help us lay the foundation—literally—for the next generation.
Gymnasium Remodel Project
There are few places on the Mount Ellis Academy campus that see more traffic than the gymnasium. During an average week in sports season, more than 500 visitors may pass through its doors.
Our teams can host up to five games per day against multiple opponents, bringing in visitors of all ages. Athletes, families, and community member all come to participate in league sports, attend events, or cheer from the stands. Our athletic program and facilities provide a tremendous opportunity for MEA to connect with the broader community.
Phase 1 of the gymnasium remodel project will begin at the end of May 2026. This phase will include a complete renovation of the lobby and bathrooms, featuring new plumbing, updated showers, a redesigned entry point, as well as new concessions and office spaces. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August, just in time for the new school year.
The total financial need for this project is $1,000,000. To date, $500,000 has already been raised. A generous donor has committed to match all funds raised up to $250,000. This means your donation will be doubled, making an even greater impact.
